The Friends of the Ripon Memorial Library need your support! Government funding pays for only minimal library services and it is only through your donations and other fundraising efforts that the Friends can provide enhanced programs and updated collection materials for our community. By becoming a Friend you will help ensure that your library continues to offer the best programs and collection materials at no cost to the entire Ripon community.

Our donation levels offer a wide range of opportunities. Simply choose your membership level and your annual dues will help preserve the Friends advocacy and fundraising efforts in support of the Ripon Memorial Library. Your membership will also entitle you to the Friends online newsletter and advance notice emails of upcoming activities at the Ripon Memorial Library. Giving Tree Donations

Our Giving Tree is prominently displayed just inside the library on our Donor Wall.The Giving Tree provides permanent recognition to those who wish to donate beyond the Friendship level .Donations made at this level will be honored with an impressive inscribed Giving Tree Leaf, Almond Blossom, or Granite Stone. Planned Giving Donations: Leave a Legacy

A planned giving donation allows supporters of the Friends of the Ripon Memorial Library to leave a Legacy donation. Donations can be made via a trust, insurance designation, or bequest. By contacting your financial advisor you can determine the best way to continue to support the Friends. Did you know that you could help support the Friends for as little as $6 per year?

That's right, if every Ripon household was to donate $6 per year ($6.00 x 4,400 Ripon Households), that would ensure the Friends achieves our Annual Program and Collection goal of $25,000! Seems easy right? Last year, the Friends received a total of $16,000 in donations and grants. This was well short of our annual goal. Did you know your donations and membership dues fund new collection materials like books, CD's, magazines, DVD's and programs for the Ripon library? By missing our goal in 2008, the Ripon library will receive $9,000 less in Friends funding.
